• Anticoagulation Clinic– Individuals on blood thinning medications such as Coumadin or Warfarin need frequent tests. Our Anticoagulation Clinic uses finger-stick technology to provide this test with just a few drops of blood. The test is run on the spot, and our team of pharmacists and physicians can provide you with instant results and make any needed medication changes.

• Diabetes Management Clinic– The Diabetes Management Clinic is a comprehensive look at Diabetes by our team of a physician, a pharmacist and a diabetic nurse educator. Our team will work with you to help you stay in control of your diabetes.


• Pain Management– Many treatments and approaches are now available to help people with chronic pain. Visit with our pain management specialists, Cindy Peterson, ARNP, and Dr. Kim Neuharth to explore all of your options. Their special training will help you explore new treatment options to keep you pain-free.

• Pediatric Asthma Community Education (PACE)- If you have never received asthma education, there may be components of your child’s asthma treatment that you’re missing. Our Certified Asthma Educator and Respiratory Therapist, Kathy Semke, will help you and your healthcare provider develop an asthma action plan and help you and your child understand how to monitor your child’s asthma and prevent future asthma attacks.

• Prenatal Care– GCH Family Medicine has teamed up with Women’s Health Services of Des Moines and Iowa Lutheran Hospital to provide prenatal care close to home. Prenatal care is provided at GCH Family Medicine for the first 32 weeks of pregnancy, with the final visits and delivery in Des Moines.
